Since its reopening the University Library Freiburg offers not only an ideal learning environment for students but also a manifold of services for doctoral candidates and postdoctoral researchers. The guided tour will present some of those services available, for example: Which fields of expertise does the Library encompass? Where are they located within the Library? How can the Library’s website be used most efficiently?
What kind of specific support do Library officers provide, for example regarding literature and information search? How can the Library facilitate the publication of your thesis? What strategies does the Library pursue concerning the handling of research data and information?
The guided tour will introduce you to established services for doctoral candidates and postdoctoral researchers. On the other hand, during the tour there is the possibility to address your questions regarding your field of expertise and specific concerns you may have.
